What used to work...doesn't.
And even if it did, it feels gross and we don't wanna do it.
And besides, the marketing options we have now seem to have exploded and it's totally overwhelming and therefore, paralyzing.
While we might still love the work, we don't love *how* we have to get the work.
And especially since so many of us had banner financial years in 2020 and 2021, it's been extra disheartening (to say the least) to see those numbers go (way) down - and it's been affecting us both personally *and* professionally.
So let's stop pretending that it doesn't exist or that we're all fine.
We're not fine.
The landscape of our businesses, our economy, our political landscape, our mental + physical health has changed. Drastically. And fairly quickly.
So many of us haven't been able to hang on - and lots of others have been holding on for dear life for way too long.
And while a 3-part series won't solve all our problems, I know it's a start.
